... have blown me back to my native home of southcentral Pennsylvania (that's in northeastern USA, for those around the world who may not know) after 15 years away,
back to the place where i always thought i wanted to leave.
funny how green the grass suddenly has become
in my old stomping grounds,
countryside so reassuringly familiar,
yet, in many ways,
intriquingly, even strangely, new.
time away sure has a way of giving
fresh perspective and appreciation
for what one once took for granted.
