Stashed Silverware Uncovered From Ashes

interesting story,

but how does it go from this...
"The hand-crafted goblets, plates and trays had been bundled into a wicker basket by an inhabitant fleeing the erupting Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD."

to this...
"One man bundled his family silverware into a wicker basket and ran for his life."

what indicates the inhabitant to be a family man?

  1. Isn't that what all men say in the event of a catastrophic event? BEFORE WE RUN GET THE SILVERWARE! Any anthropologist would be able to predict what is happening in Jamaica right now. All the men are saying,"Quick, before we run lets get our silverwear in a wicker basket pronto!"

  2. Sorry, I was going to comment on this story but my eyes strayed down to the post below it...Golden Earring is Dutch?! That's amazing. Well, the singer certainly conquered that weird accent those people have.
