Zephyr Illusions photo by donna October 1992. The view atop Chasseral, Jura Mountains looking across Switzerland to The Alps on the horizon. Fog, intensely thick, rising from Lac Bienne and stretching its fingers high onto the Lignières-Plateau de Diesse after wholly filling the valley below the plateau.

"A Goal Without a Plan Is Just a Wish."

...said Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900 - 1944)

"In the absence of clearly-defined goals,
we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia
until ultimately we become enslaved by it."

Robert Heinlein (1907 - 1988)

lately have realised that i make lots of wishes while busy with daily trivia. hmmmm...

  2. I'm intrigued. What is on your wish list?

And yes, it happens to me a lot, too where the "Important" things take the back seat to the "Urgent" ones (like making dinner and taking out the trash.)

  3. some wishlist items =
~satisfy lifelong desire to visit San Francisco
    ~visit Montréal and Québec
~book another 3 weeks trip to Europe this Autumn
...erhmmm, too many places-to-visit to list, but those are the immediate travel wishes...
~find the perfect affordable little cozy humble abode in a tranquil setting where i will spend my care-freetime responding to friends' emails [ ;) lol]
~become a wiz at building and maintaining websites
~find several more clients (maybe in the Indie music biz) who happily pay for my website wizardry and adminstrative support so i can be independent and say bye-bye to being a working slave to mainstream corporate capitalistic pigs
