Zephyr Illusions photo by donna October 1992. The view atop Chasseral, Jura Mountains looking across Switzerland to The Alps on the horizon. Fog, intensely thick, rising from Lac Bienne and stretching its fingers high onto the Lignières-Plateau de Diesse after wholly filling the valley below the plateau.

Changing Our World

"While the effect of human activity on the global climate is hotly debated, physical signs of environmental change are all around us."

I'm not quite sure what is the 'debate', but wouldn't common sense dictate that it is inherent and inevitable that a species as proliferate, domineering and rapacious as the human species would have a major effect on the environment?
When will it be too late to correct and adjust our attitude and behavior toward the environment and natural resources? ... an environment we share with other species, we should not forget.
